Al Ma’bar is the architectural translation of the legal instrument that provides the legal framework for the treatment of refugees.
My goal is to create more than just check point between borders. This project is a refugee crisis center solution that does not only meet the needs of emergency response but also identifies victims as refugees by the UNHCR.It is collapsible and shipped flat to allow for transport via air sea and land. It is then taken apart and assembled on location. It is sustainable; able to generate its own electricity through the choice of material used; Photo voltaic fabric.
