Brief About The Project:
The main argument is that typologies exist as a “universal” language between different modes of architecture and cannot be denied; however, there is a fine line between standardization, which is meant to aid, and classification, which evolved to constrain. The Automotive Park is a project that defies the architectural typology of industrial buildings; in fact, it is a community service building with its specialized program and architectural language. This is a site driven project aiming to revive "Saqiyet Mekki's" informal settlers existing vocations into a timeless source of integration.
