Brief About The Project:
Umm Qais is a historic tourist city where the Ottoman village located, it includes projects that target tourists, locals didn’t like that they weren't involved in decision making. 2006 vision aimed to fill the gap by projects through community participation in the upper district while ignoring the lower district, which led to a loss of wayfinding. The lower district is an opportunity to satisfy locals needs and create a spatial sequential journey to experience the whole site by linking individual buildings with large urban space.
The project's aim to become of the long history of the site, it considers spatial structures and configuration, the relationship between the site and its context.
